A crowd of 34,352, the largest ever for a CFL game at the venue, watched the matchup swing to the final snap of regulation. Winnipeg forced overtime when Zach Collaros found Dorian Singer on a five-yard touchdown pass as the clock expired.

The Roughriders answered first in overtime. Tommy Stevens powered in from one yard out for his third touchdown of the game and his 15th rushing score of the season. Saskatchewan then failed on the two-point attempt, leaving Winnipeg one last shot to stay alive.
The Bombers never got that chance. On third-and-six from the Saskatchewan 31, the Roughriders defense stopped the conversion, and Jameer Thurman dragged the receiver down behind the line to seal the victory.

Passing Game Keeps Saskatchewan Moving
Trevor Harris handled most of the passing load for Saskatchewan, completing 23 of 33 throws for 362 yards and one touchdown. He said the offense took some time to find its footing, but the group settled in after a slow start.
Harris on the win: the victory mattered because the team is chasing important late-season points while dealing with injuries to several key players.

With the result, Saskatchewan moved to 8-4 and remained second in the West Division behind Edmonton, which stood at 8-3 before a Monday game against Calgary. Winnipeg dropped to 6-6.
Duncan-Busby Delivers a Career Night
In the absence of Samuel Emilus and Kian Schaffer-Baker, Dhel Duncan-Busby stepped into a much larger role and made it count. The third-year receiver finished with 10 catches for 140 yards, both career highs, and several of his biggest grabs came on crucial downs late in the fourth quarter.
His season totals now sit at 35 receptions for 504 yards. He said patience mattered while waiting for his opportunity, especially with so many injuries reshaping the receiving group.

Aubrey Miller Jr., making his first career start at linebacker, said the offense gave the defense the momentum it needed. Saskatchewan’s front seven then finished the job.
Derick Roberson, Seyi Oladipo, and Miller each recorded sacks, and the defense held Brady Oliveira in check throughout the night. Oliveira entered with 956 rushing yards but managed only 28 yards on nine carries.
Milestones for Harris and Johnson
Harris also moved up the CFL all-time passing list. His 72-yard completion to Daniel Wiebe in the second quarter pushed him ahead of Doug Flutie into 10th place on the league’s career yardage chart. He entered the game needing 127 yards to pass Flutie’s total of 41,355.
After the game, Harris said the achievement felt fitting because of the people around him. He credited teammates and coaches for helping him reach the milestone.
Harris now has 41,590 career passing yards, which places him behind ninth-ranked Matt Dunigan at 43,857. Anthony Calvillo still owns the league record with 79,816 yards.
KeeSean Johnson also reached a notable mark by topping 1,000 receiving yards for the second straight season. He caught four passes for 32 yards and now has 81 receptions for 1,022 yards this year, which trails his 2025 totals of 86 catches and 1,159 yards.
Special Teams, Scoring, and What Comes Next
The stat sheet showed a game shaped by both explosive plays and missed chances. Collaros went 27 of 40 for 279 yards and two touchdown passes, finding Kevens Clercius and Singer for scores. Saskatchewan added a receiving touchdown from Quali Conley and a safety from Roberson.
Winnipeg’s Sergio Castillo was perfect on four field goal tries, while Saskatchewan kicker Alex Hale made just one of three attempts. Those missed points left the Roughriders needing overtime to finish the job.
